Frequently asked questions

Find clear answers to help you and your family make the best decisions for your health and mobility.

Who is this service designed for?

Independent Living Fitness is designed exclusively for older adults aged 65 and up. Whether you want to regain balance, maintain strength, improve joint mobility, or safely exercise following therapy, every workout is tailored to your unique capabilities.

What areas do you serve?

In-home sessions are provided throughout Bloomington, Minnesota, as well as surrounding south metro communities. Charlie travels directly to your home so you do not have to worry about transportation or bad weather.

Do I need to own any fitness equipment?

No equipment is needed. Charlie brings all sanitized exercise gear directly to your home, including resistance bands, light weights, balance pads, and mobility aids tailored to your routine.

What qualifications and certifications do you hold?

Charlie brings over 5 years of hands-on Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience, is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and holds current CPR/AED certification.

How are workouts kept safe for older adults?

Safety is the top priority. Workouts begin with a thorough assessment of your balance, range of motion, and health history. Charlie uses gentle, controlled exercises and provides close supervision at all times to prevent injury.

How much space do we need in my home?

Very little space is required. A clear area roughly the size of a living room rug, alongside a sturdy dining chair or couch, is usually plenty of room for safe, effective exercise.

Can family members attend or observe sessions?

Family members are always welcome to observe or ask questions during sessions. Open communication helps ensure everyone feels confident, supported, and informed about your progress.

How do I schedule my first consultation?

Getting started is easy. You can reach out directly by emailing rehak456@gmail.com to discuss your goals and schedule an initial visit.
